Here an orange or olive green rope swings effortlessly up a black metal rod in a wide arch and winds around a large black metal shade.
As a floor lamp it stands on a black base plate with its rod, light and flexible, all clear lines and curves. A downlight in the shade and an additional uplight give plenty of warm light, even in large rooms; the arch is easy to adjust, and a foot dimmer in the cable switches and dims the lamp.
