Rodolfo Dordoni is a Milan architect and designer whose long career spans furniture, lighting and interiors for leading Italian brands. For Foscarini he designed Lumiere in 1990, a table lamp with a blown-glass shade on a slim tripod stem that is now a modern classic, and the Buds family, whose glass shades recall a traditional bulb. Lumiere comes in several sizes, from a bedside lamp to the larger XX. Pair two table lamps on a console or at either side of a bed.
