Oriano Favaretto

Oriano Favaretto is a Venetian glass artist and designer, born in Treviso in 1956 and trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice under the painter Emilio Vedova. A passion for Murano glass led him to the Fucina degli Angeli glassworks, and he has since designed lighting for Vistosi, Masiero, Sillux and Cattelan Italia. His pieces turn blown and cast glass into sculptural pendants, cascading chandeliers and softly glowing wall lights. Many come in single and multi-light versions, so they scale easily from a powder room to a stairwell.
