Angelo Mangiarotti

Angelo Mangiarotti (1921–2012) was an Italian architect and designer celebrated for his work in structure and materials. In 1967 he designed Giogali for Vistosi: a system of hand-made Murano glass hooks that link together without any frame, forming shimmering curtains of light. The design is still made in Murano today, in pendant, ceiling, wall, table and floor versions, and the smaller Minigiogali scales it down for more intimate spaces.
