Marc Sadler is a French designer based in Italy, known for pioneering new materials and a multiple winner of the Compasso d'Oro. For Foscarini he designed Mite and Tite, woven from fibreglass and carbon fibre, and the Twiggy floor lamp, whose long flexible arm arcs over a sofa or dining table. His work for Slamp, OLEV, Fabbian and Martinelli Luce explores light, translucent shapes in a similar spirit. An arc floor lamp such as Twiggy gives overhead light where no ceiling box exists.
