Birdie's Busch, by Ingo Maurer & Team (2010/2017), lets the winged bulbs of Ingo Maurer's famous Birdie take root. Seven frosted LED bulbs, each carrying a pair of real goose-feather wings, perch at the tips of slender metal branches that grow from a single stem, like a small flock settling in a bush.
The silver arms can be gently bent and the wings repositioned, so every lamp takes on its own shape. A transformer hidden in the flat base plate feeds the bulbs, and a transparent cable with an in-line switch keeps the poetic silhouette free of visual clutter.
