Ludovica and Roberto Palomba took the familiar flared lampshade and set it straight onto the table, with no stem and no base, so the shade itself becomes the whole lamp: a soft, slightly tapered cone of white that glows from within.
The diffuser spreads an even, warm light all around and casts a brighter halo onto the surface below, which makes it a calm presence on a bedside table, a sideboard or a shelf. It comes in two sizes, both in white, with an on/off switch on the cord, and the pair works well grouped together.
