Birdie Easy is the relaxed, colourful branch of the Birdie family designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. A slim metal stem rises from a low round base and swells gently into a tapered foot, carrying a soft white shade shaped like an upturned bell, so the lamp feels light and almost drawn rather than built.
Standing just under five feet tall, it puts a warm, diffused light at reading height beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed, while the shade spills a gentle glow onto the wall. The stem and base come in six matt colours, from white and black to light blue, sage green, sand yellow and brick red, with an on/off switch on the cord.
