Designed by Neil Poulton for Artemide, the Alambicco Linear Suspension lays five hand-blown glass forms end to end along a single horizontal line, a nod to the stills and glass vessels of an old laboratory. Each knurled clear glass section refracts the view of the light source inside, so the fixture reads as a shimmering glass sculpture, finished at both ends with polished chrome caps.

An integrated LED runs the full length of the glass and dims on a 0-10V control, casting a soft, diffused glow. Suspended on fine cables with a round chrome canopy, it brings a quietly luxurious line of light over a dining table, a kitchen island or a long sideboard.
