Troag takes its name and its silhouette from the tröag, the canoe-shaped wooden bowl Swedish families hand down for generations. Luca Nichetto translated that shape into a long, slender suspension of heat-bent ash plywood whose ends are milled into soft, sweeping curves that bring out the grain of the wood.
Redesigned around an integrated LED source, it throws a strong, even light straight down while an opaque diffuser underneath hides the technical parts and keeps glare in check. At over six feet long it is made for kitchen islands, long dining tables and desks, alone or in a row. Offered in natural wood or black.
