Spock, designed by Bernhard Dessecker for Ingo Maurer in 1998, is a compact spotlight of stainless steel, glass and aluminium. Like the Sista spotlight, it pairs a sculpted glass socket with a reflector bulb, hung from a transparent canopy on a looping cable that gives the small fixture its character.
A ball joint lets the light swivel freely, so Spock suits accent lighting wherever it is needed: in a hallway, in front of a wardrobe, as mirror lighting, in the kitchen or in the living room. It mounts on the ceiling or on the wall, and works with an LED retrofit spotlight bulb.
