Designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua for Artemide Architectural, the Somnium Linear Suspension is a slim bar of brushed silver aluminum that floats on fine cables beneath a small round canopy. Below the body runs a clear sculpted PMMA lens whose faceted pattern catches and spreads the light, so the fixture reads as a crisp, quietly technical line whether it is lit or not.

An integrated LED sends light both down onto the work surface and up toward the ceiling, with an advanced optic that keeps glare low for long hours of comfortable light. It dims on a 2-wire or 0-10V control and is offered in three lengths, a warm 3000K or neutral 3500K tone, and a white or black canopy, suiting a kitchen island, a long dining table or an office.
