Cristián Mohaded based the Ripply Candle Holder on the ripple that runs across still water. Sheets of mirror-polished stainless steel bend in soft, overlapping curves, and they reflect the room and every flame along their length. The finish turns an industrial material into something light and almost fleeting.

Unlit, Ripply reads as a sculptural object. Its purpose only shows once candles are set into the narrow openings between the sheets of steel. Run it down a dining table, place it on a sideboard or windowsill to catch the daylight, or use it as a contemporary take on the Advent candle tradition through the winter months.
