An interest in religious architecture was at the origin of the Procession Outdoor Wall Light design, from ART + ALCHEMY by Hubbardton Forge. Influenced by a visit to Copenhagen’s Grundtvigs Kirke in the 1980s, designer was intrigued by the use of forced perspective in a spatial progression that led to the creation of the Procession Collection. The church’s original arch was transformed to a simple rectangular portal made of aluminum. Designed for the outdoors, yet elegant enough for indoor use, as well.

Hubbardton Forge was born in 1974 as a result of longtime friendship and enthusiasm of two friends. Over the years, creating beautiful, unique lamps through traditional techniques of artisan and blacksmithing, devoted to quality and consistency in its designs, the Hubbardton Forge brand has grown in strength and gained recognition.
