Oop's, designed by Ingo Maurer & Team in 2019, is a single strip of paper pinned to the wall. It combines the spontaneous gesture of a ready-made with a gracefully curving form, as if the sheet had just been pinned up and allowed to unfurl on its own.
The light source is hidden in the lower end of the curl, so the glow falls softly through the paper by Gmund and spreads across the wall. Steel and plastic fittings hold the shape in place, and a transparent cable keeps the look light and casual, with a dimmer switch built into the cord.
