Max. Mover, by Ingo Maurer & Team (2000/2017), is a task light that reaches across a room. A telescopic fibreglass rod, hung from just two suspension points on nylon ropes, carries a small reflector of high-gloss pure aluminium with a built-in LED, so the light can be placed precisely over a desk, drawing table or workbench.
The rod extends from 110 to 210 cm and can be tilted and rotated through 180 degrees on its rope suspension, while a handle lets you angle the reflector continuously in two directions. A push-button switch sits at the end of the rod, and the lamp can be mounted on the ceiling or on a wall.
