John Astbury's Margin floor lamp reworks the familiar shaded luminaire as a stack of layered drums. Two intersecting linen shades sit one inside the other, so the light passes through fabric and a diffusing liner before it reaches the room, arriving as an even, warm glow with no glare.
The beige canvas shades are stretched over a slim black steel frame and carried on a tall, straight stem with a slender tube rising through the top, the graphic line that runs through the whole Margin family. Set it beside a lounge chair or sofa as a soft reading and ambient light, or pair it with the Margin pendants and table lamp.
