Lucellino Doppio, by Ingo Maurer (2018/2022), doubles the famous winged bulb: two little 'light birds' with white wings perch on fine brass wires that rise from a round white surface-mounted box, their red wires twisting playfully around the brass. The piece works as a wall light or as a ceiling light.
The junction box neatly houses the power supply, and the two Ambient LED bulbs, made exclusively for Ingo Maurer, glow warmly and grow warmer as they are dimmed, like old filament bulbs. The wires can be bent into position so that each bird finds its own place.
