LED's Oskar, designed by Ingo Maurer and Team in 2012, is the LED version of the much-loved Oskar shelf lamp. Its upright body of black anodised aluminium doubles as a bookend, standing between the books on a shelf, while a flexible metal arm carries a compact square lamp head that can be bent and swivelled into almost any position.
The warm 2700K LED lights shelves in a pleasant, functional way and is just as useful on a small desk or bedside table. A toggle switch on the electronic safety transformer turns it on and off, and the long cable leaves plenty of freedom in where it stands.
