Lagoon, the new collection of outdoor lamps designed by Servomuto. The lamp’s elegant and refined style, more familiar in a domestic setting, is here transferred to the outdoors, giving it an almost decontextualised use.
The collection is inspired by the vertical lines and simplicity of the Typha plant, typically found in marshy areas on the banks of rivers and lakes. Thanks to its graceful shape, in the 1970s it was a very characteristic decoration of domestic interiors.
Like the plant, the Lagoon collection also has three different sizes – small, medium and large – with a matt-black lacquered structure and copper details, which allow the lamps to be grouped together, creating the impression of a “luminous forest”.
As usual with Servomuto’s projects, the lampshades have a linear and minimalist form, and are covered in Pierre Frey fabric. They are offered in three different finishes: Noumea Goyave, Bayamo Mimosa and Dominica Caraibes.
Contardi
Originating in the Italian district of Brianza, Contardi launched its first branded project in 2006, although the experience of its experts goes back many years. The company separates its offer into home division, both indoor and outdoor; and contracted projects - for hotels, restaurants, luxurious yachts and so on. At Contardi, tradition and respect for the highest quality materials go hand in hand with skills and the latest lighting technologies, providing exceptional effects and the unique atmosphere of the illuminated places.
