La Festa delle Farfalle, designed by Ingo Maurer & Team in 2019, celebrates the Festival of Butterflies. Thirty-four white paper butterflies and a single green paper dragonfly settle on the fine spring rods that branch from a slender central stem, and can be moved and arranged freely, so every installation looks a little different.
Below the branches sits a small plate holding three matt light bulbs. They are pure decoration: the light comes from LEDs integrated in the plate, shining both up into the swarm and down onto the table, in a warm 2700K glow. A set of black butterflies with a red dragonfly is available as an accessory.
