Kapok draws its gently curved, sculptural form from the natural structure of the kapok tree, its hand-thrown ceramic shade shaped with the nooks and grooves that give the fixture a soft, organic rhythm. Each shade is crafted by hand, so the surface texture and tone vary from piece to piece, lending a tactile, one-of-a-kind quality. The open, exposed-bulb design lets light spill freely across the ceramic form, casting a warm, ambient glow while highlighting the sculptural character of the shade.
This ceiling light brings a calm, grounded presence to entryways, bedrooms, kitchens, and living spaces, working equally well solo or grouped in a cluster. It is available in a range of ceramic and metal finishes, from earthy clays to marbled glazes, so it can be tailored to almost any interior.
