An extra-large lamp in the classic bulb shape, around 9 cm across, hangs from a white lacquered socket on a grey textile cable, with a white PTFE ring around its lower half that softens the glare and gives the piece its quiet character.
It is the pared-back sibling of Johnny B. Butterfly, which adds handmade butterflies and a dragonfly. On its own or in a row over a long dining table, a kitchen counter or a bar, Johnny B. Bald works in many combinations, and its height is set simply by enlarging or reducing the cable loop.
