Gioia was conceived by Andrea Anastasio as a piece of jewellery for the wall. A sliver of statuary marble sits at the centre of a tinted, transparent PMMA disc, the two joined by a single hand-finished brass ring and hung from one small pin, so they can sway slightly like an earring.
Behind the marble, an integrated LED lights the stone from within and sets the coloured disc glowing in soft light blue, green or pink. Offered in two diameters, Gioia works as a sculptural accent in a bedroom, hallway or living room, as striking switched off as it is lit.
