Founded in 2005 by Romy and Ilya together with their three young children, Studio ROOF is a family-run Dutch design studio that began with a cardboard playhouse and now has its own store in the heart of Amsterdam. The studio believes creativity, play and sustainability belong together, and every design is made from recycled cardboard printed with vegetable inks, then assembled by hand at home. The collection spans 3D wall art of birds, butterflies, beetles and sea life, everlasting paper flower bouquets inspired by Van Gogh, Klimt and Matisse, pop-out cards, baby mobiles and holiday ornaments.
