Dafne takes its shape from a leaf beginning to furl — a tall panel of blown glass, gently concave, flaring as it rises. Mounted flat against the wall it reads almost as a relief, throwing light upward and down in a soft vertical band.
At roughly nine inches tall the wall version is sized for a hallway, a stairwell or either side of a mirror, where the flared glass spreads light up the wall rather than into the room.
