A great paradigm of the contemporary lighting, the Artemide Copernico Suspension Lamp is a breathtakingly gorgeous light that recreates the orbital paths of the nine planets. This stunning pendant light fixture offers indirect, direct, and diffused LED illumination and was designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo Dell'Elce in the year 2010. These designers took inspiration from the Renaissance astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus's a scientific theory of Sun being the center of our solar system. It features nine elliptical anodized aluminum rings that are compatible with a circuit of 384 white 38W LEDs. The mobile ellipses independently carry out rotation on two different axes, which helps in directing the emitted light along with obtaining different spatial configurations. Moreover, for convenient installation, this suspension lamp comes with field-cuttable suspension cables. When turned off, the fixture looks completely flat. Perfect for any decor, the Copernico Suspension Lamp is available in Metal Black and Metal Grey finishes.
