2 x 18 x 18, created by Ingo Maurer & Team in 2016, is the double version of the 18 x 18 wall and ceiling light. Two slightly curved 18 x 18 cm shades of powder-coated aluminium sit on slender stainless-steel arms, each lit by a dimmable mains-voltage LED that gives a light of remarkable quality for such a weightless form.
Each element has two ball joints, so the shades can be turned in almost any direction for extremely flexible use: uplight, downlight, ceiling floodlight or picture light, anything is possible. The lamp can be mounted on the wall or on the ceiling.
