18 x 18, designed by Ingo Maurer & Team in 2015, owes its lightness to a minimalist design and the thinnest of materials. Its square shade of powder-coated aluminium recalls a sheet of paper caught in flight, and its subtle curvature gives the lamp an almost organic character.
Two ball joints, one at the square canopy and one at the shade, make it extremely flexible. Mounted on a wall or a ceiling, it can be turned into an uplight, a downlight, a ceiling floodlight or a picture light. A built-in LED gives a warm 3000K light that dims smoothly on a compatible wall dimmer.
