Top 6 Products from Milan Design Week 2025

While our team was away in Milan for the Salone del Mobile show, we asked them to keep an extra eye out for their favourite lighting designs. With so many incredible booths and showcases at the Euroluce Exhibition, narrowing it down to just a few standout lights was nearly impossible.

But the results are in, and these are the top 6 standout lights from Milan Design Week 2025!

1. Nalum by Ingo Maurer

Ingo Maurer’s Nalum was one of the first designs that caught our attention. Designed by Sebastian Hepting, a longtime collaborator with Ingo Maurer, this suspended light bar captures the motion of ocean waves in a beautifully sculptural light. The curved glass reflects the light in a mesmerizing way, and the whole piece feels like it’s floating. You can adjust the light both up and down, depending on the mood, and yes — those are little tiny surfer figures riding the waves in the glass, which can be arranged any way you like, making each piece feel personal and special. Nalum strikes a beautiful balance between fun and elegance, making this light ideal for anyone who loves a touch of whimsy without compromising on style.

2. Mapi Collection by Aromas Del Campo

The Mapi Collection, designed by Jose Fornas, definitely caught our attention with its clean, geometric shapes and warm materials. The muted, earthy colours give it a modern vibe while keeping things fun and fresh. What we loved most is how versatile it is. These lights would fit just as comfortably in a cozy home as they would in a sleek, trendy office. Whether you want to add a subtle statement or build a whole look around it, the Mapi collection makes modern lighting feel easy. This collection features a range of fixtures such as linear suspensions, pendants, table lamps, and floor lamps. Crafted from luxurious materials like marble and glass, and available in a palette of earthy, muted tones, Mapi brings effortless sophistication to any interior.

3. Beautiful Mess by Karman

Beautiful Mess, designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, is exactly what you would expect this light to be named. A wild tangle of wires, bulbs, and unexpected details that somehow come together in perfect harmony. It’s chaotic but thoughtfully designed, with each element adding its own bit of personality. This unique light makes quite the statement piece, whether it’s the star of the room or just blending into a space that’s already full of life, this light is sure to impress.

4. MAP System by Lodes

Created in collaboration with Berlin-studio Geckeler Michels, MAP is lighting that adapts to your imagination. Its modular design lets you play with form and scale, building custom arrangements that feel architectural yet artistic. The circular elements can flow across ceilings and walls like constellations, creating a sculptural lightscape that’s as functional as it is striking. Crafted from steel, the system features circular light modules that can be arranged individually or in clusters. Available in matte black, matte champagne and natural brown finishes, it offers both visual warmth and versatility to any interior. The MAP System is ideal for large spaces where you want lighting to be more than just practical, you want it to be an element that brings structure, movement, and style to the room.

5. Posi by Luceplan

Designed by Umut Yamac, Posi is a beautifully balanced blend of elegance and simplicity. Inspired by 'Ikebana,' the Japanese practice of arranging flowers in a vase, this table lamp brings a sculptural, interactive twist to lighting. The glass stems light up when placed inside the vase, allowing you to rearrange them and create your own glowing composition. It's a piece that feels both refined and personal, and would look beautiful on a coffee table, nightstand, or anywhere you want soft, artistic light.

6. Allumette by Foscarini

Designed by Francesca Lanzavecchia, Allumette offers a refreshing take on the chandelier. Inspired by the shape of a lit matchstick, this suspension light is clean and minimal, but still bold enough to make a statement. Its asymmetrical arms extend from the center of the chandelier, each with soft glowing elements that look like the flicker of a flame. Made from a mix of metal, acrylic glass (PMMA) and fabric cables, it's available in three striking colourways: grey and red, blue, and white. It’s lightweight in appearance but bold in presence, making Allumette the perfect statement piece for over a dining table or in an entryway where you want a sculptural, modern statement.
