AERON has a body, made entirely of hand-blown glass, which is characterized by a double chamber glass. The inner chamber is satin-finished to diffuse the light in a more harmonious and natural way and to reduce glare, while the outer surface is transparent and can be made in different colors. The metal frames are available in chrome, satin gold, and satin black nickel. The pendant lamp is realized in four dimensional variants. The table version, on the other hand, is made in three different sizes and on the top we find a handy metal ring, which serves to carry the lamp, almost like a lantern. The light is diffused very evenly along the generous inner surface of the lamp and this guarantees a very high quality of light. The name of the company Cangini & Tucci derives from its rich tradition. In 1961 master Cangini established a factory in Cesena, Italy, where he produced glass elements by hand through traditional glass processing. More than 25 years later, his son-in-law took over the factory, using learned traditional techniques to create beautiful chandeliers and utility lamps. Today, the company is gaining more and more international recognition. Cangini & Tucci lamps from the Van Gogh collection, designed in collaboration with the museum’s artists, can be seen in Amsterdam at the Van Gogh Museum.
